I had a few choice (and uber techie) words to say in the matter on Digg.

iPhones are not secure enough to gain a foot hold in the government and corporate sector (which is where the BB has dominated for a hundred and six years )

Did DIGG do its home work and look at the % of market share in the smartphone arena?!?!

iPhone has a l-o-n-g way to go to Digg (pun) into that!

Coporate compliance for SOX, HIPPA, etc on the Iphone platform has a long way to come before Apple can knock the pants off of RIM. Sure maybe you can remote wipe a device, but I do forensics for a living and the security compliance, encryption, wiping on this new platform have a long way to go before they will be seriously considered by corporate america.
SOX... Amen.. I work for an accounting firm.

Lack of security and and ability to control the iPhone device in our environment is huge.

Bah, It's like a couple kids at the playground.
Digg (being the girl) toss's a rock and hits RIM (The boy) in the head.
this is flirting .... Digg and apple are in cahoots, and they want to flirt with RIM .
which what its going to do is piss RIM off. And unleash the Berry 2kGOD phone. with a freakin lazer! and a signal jammer built in. And it only effects iphones around it..

    Stupid Apple.
God i need a title under my name for my apple hatred.

Hah I have to say that iphone is awesome, in i some aspects, I love the way touch just flows so well with the os, and some of the games are awesome. Now the mobile me and the app store make it great! I would trade it for my curve at any moment, we all know curve is inferior in many ways, yet it still more secure and doesent look like a joke on the hip. Now with the upcoming bold on the other hand, I will definitely not go to iphone, altogh I love the idea of exchange for rest, I find it useless. After getting my bb, I have checked my email on the desktop about 10 times for last two years. On top of that, apple makes things too advanced! No family would use the icalc schedule sync, that's just bad, it gives no assurance, call is still the best way to confirm a meeting or such, people don't live like that. The app store is cool though and the dev. Software but that's about it. In every other aspect, bold and the next 9000 serieses would be far more advanced. I won't mention multi touch as it is quite controversial and I see it more of a preference rather then feature. Now with the more powerful hardware, rim can develop more powerful os and a huge variety of games.

PS: not really an advantage, but iphone can utilize its full memory while berry can only use build in one, and so far its not even close to an impressive amount
