Take the battery out and let it dry for a few days. This happened to a 8700c after it got dropped in the toilet AND the user washed it off with soap and water. She let it dry over the weekend and it has never missed a beat since. You should be able to download those applications to another device and restore a backup to the new device if needed.

take your blackberry apart and put it in a plastic bags with one of those little packets that usually come in a shoe box, you know, the gel something or another packets that help reduce mosture. (someone has to know what i'm talking about)

i had a friend drop thier phone in a lake, decided to go swiming and find it (it was only like 4 or 5 feet deep close to shore), found the phone, took it apart, dried it out with a hair dryer, put it in a bad with one of those packets over night, and it worked perfectly when he put it back together.

    true story.

    good luck!!

The very existence of flamethrowers proves that sometime, somewhere, some1 said 2 thmslvs "U knw, I really want 2 set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close engh to get the job done".

    RIM should make BB waterproof.
    That will solve the problem.
