* Mail should sync when you have opened an item with your desktop mail program (having to do it on your BB as well is a total waste of time)
* 128 MB RAM (in the words of Dr. Evil: "Honestly, I mean come on!")
* 3G
* Ability to record video (seriously)
* Ability to play most of the mobile games out there
* Greater encouragement for 3rd party application development - apps for the BB are few and far between and insanely expensive (hopefully this will change as the more consumer oriented BBs like the Pearl and Curve gain more interest)
* Better control of media - Curve is a great step forward, but there is still great room for improvement
* Better support for Mac users
* Support for creating documents (should be able to export RTF, Word, Text etc)
* Password protection of certain contacts, Tasks or Memos
* Better caller ID screen (we have a great big, beautiful screen, but when someone calls, there is only a tiny lil photo that shows up)
* Tactile feedback on main buttons (makes it easier to not have to look down at phone to be sure of which button you are hitting)
* Improved camera
* Custom SMS/MMS ringtones
* Ability to record voice notes (current voice app is far too weak)
* Alarm should be more customizable
* Ability to remove apps from contextual menu on home screen

I think all of these would go a long way to positioning the BB even better in the consumer space.
