    Software Issue

    Could someone help me, I have a BB 7250. For some reason my Desktop Manager starts to do sync the blackberry with Outlook. When the program gets to sync the calander it either shuts itself down or freezes. This just started doing this today. I have uninstalled the software and reinstalled as well as rebooted the computer, no change. I have also tried t reset the BB by taking out the battery.

    any error message or just freezes?
    also at what point, entry number or otherwise?

    No error message, it either freezes or desktop manager just shuts itslef down. Handheld shows connected to desktop still though.

    my only thought is that you have the wrong version of desktop manager check on your providers website and see if it's, you have ver. 4.2, and your phone wants ver. 4.1.
    see if that's the issue, let us know, we are always open!!! just not always doin business, like 7-11 LOL

    It is the correct version, I am sure of it. It worked just fine the other day, however now that you mentioned it. The only change I have made is I added a patch for the Daylight Savings Time change.

    ok cool, patch should not affect it.

    I've had mine doing some wierd freezing lately and I've pulled the battery but outllook still good, which desktop version are you running?

    Also my BB seems to need be reset by taking the battery out of it more often than usual. I will not get messages and then when I take the battery out and put it back in, I get all of the messages that were piling up. Happens every 2 or 3 days lately

    Hello
    Try this, in desktop manager go to synchro->configuration->synchro config. highlight the calender line and then click choose. Select import operation and press ok. Synchro again. Your outlook data will be import (oneway) in the BB. You should have no error this time. re assign synchro operation (like it was before) in the same way and re synchro your device. I resolve this problem a few time a month on my device.

    DM version doesn't need to match the BB OS version.
