I have gone back and forth over the years from smart phone to smart phone. I personally haven't run into any major problems with the os's (knocks on wood), so I am staying with my faithfull blackberry. Every once in awhile there will be a carrier outage but that is about it.

Well, I guess I have no choice but to also hang onto my beloved and yes very capable and sturdy 8310. If it aint broken, why replace it? I'll just order me a new housing and the atomic trackball . Besides, I love making my own custom themes and I know I'll go nuts looking at the AT&T stock theme on my device. Thank you all for smacking some sense into me. I was so close to going to purchase one of those things .

I love my 8330 and all that it does. I'm not going to another brand for now - I'm too happy. Also I love the thought of a new phone if and when something comes out that's enough of a change to lure me to it. It'll probably be a BB because Windows is out and all the iPhone stuff really doesn't interest me that much either.

It'd take a really revolutionary phone to get me away from my 8330. Nothing out there that I've seen so far, RIM-based or other.

I do agree with a few folks though - the Storm came out before it was ready and RIM made a big marketing mistake doing that.)

I came from an HTC Pocket PC and I will NEVER go back...constant reboots, spontaneous hard resets with loss of all data, short battery life.

And I had a Palm, with difficult desktop software that can't handle all of my categories, BT that doesn't work and screen freezes all the time.

Nope, quite happy with my BB now.

LOL! This from the penultimate "Storm Trooper"! Good one, Cats!

Yes, lots of good points regarding the choice of words and the glaring mistakes made by RIM in releasing a couple of not-ready-for-primetime devices.

That's not the case with my current device, so why would I let this turn of events persuade me to jump ship to another manufacturer's devices which I know virtually nothing about?

Again, if I had the "coin" to go out and by the latest and greatest offering from the other companies, I would have a different thought process. I don't have that luxury, nor do I have the cause.

Just bought a pristine 8310 from a friend for a backup in order to insure that I've got an excellent handset until RIM releases Magnum, which better not have a buried trackball, or I'll pass that up too.
Irregardless, you won't find anything in my hand but Blackberry
