    Thumbs down So Upset W/my Pearl!!!!

    Someone please help me before I SELL this phone and go back to my Nokia! I can not get the email to work or my pin messaging! I have deleted and resent the service books. I have done soft and hard pulls I have pinned myself only to get a red X and an error message saying the service is blocked. I have called t-mo SEVEN times and told them I got the phone used but they said the phone is registered only to me SO PLEASE HELP! When I wake up in the morning I hope to have a few answers to get this running because I am BEYOND FRUSTRATED!!!! :cry:

    okay, well first things first. is it a t-obile pearl that you bought from the store?
    second do you have the data plan added on to your account
    third what software are you running

    sounds like the data service has not been added to the phone. it may be registered in your name but if no data plan none of those features will work. can you access the internet on it? if not that is your problem.

    I'd get back on the phone with T-MO. If you have a data plan on the BB, get them to make it work. If you have everything in order they should be able to fix it. Even if you are not the first owner.

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~here's another question, was the phone originally registered with t mo or was it with another carrier? If it was with another carrier maybe the phone needs to be unlocked in order for it to work. If the phone was still registered with another carrier and data roaming was turned off under "options" and "mobile network" that may explain why there is no data service. Also you may want to ask them if your pin registered with t mo? It really does sound more like there is a problem on their end.
