    sms,mms, on a 7510

When I activated my bb, the rep said that I can't do sms... That's fine, but she did say I can do mms, which I can't locate anywhere on my bb, not in the messages icon after hitting the track wheel or anything.. I have the latest software for it but I still don't know

    That does seem backwards.

If anything, you should SMS by default, and MMS perhaps.

    Which OS do you have?

I believe that MMS was only introduced with 4.1.

On another note, why are the sms capabilities constantly not working? Is there a special setting or something that I need to activate to get it to work all the time? I sent out like fifteen "text" messages today without checking delivery confirmation and when I did check, they all have a big red X beside them. Can someone lead me in the right direction?

You will need to call your carrier, but in Options --> SMS, you need to have the correct message service, and service centre number.

That's the first place to start.

    Re: sms,mms, on a 7510

i have used a blackberry 5810, 6710, 7280, 7290, and now a 8700c nowhere in any of these is the option todo MMS. This would explain why i can't add a photo to an e-mail i bet. Anyhow, call your carrier back and ask them cause lewis is right. they did tell you backwards. Maybe i am wrong but i think only the 7100's and pearl do MMS.
