    Yeah...sucks.

I was wondering if there was a way to locate it or destroy it via OTA so it can't be used lol.

I doubt the person will return it...

I'm guessing that it wasn't password locked. To the best of my knowledge there is no way to wipe the device but call the carrier and have the sim card deactivated

From what i have read, you CAN wipe a device OTA, but only if you are BES.

Sorry to hear that. I wish the BB's had a self-destruct mode(Like Mission Impossible) w/a BlackBerry-colored ink that dyed the person in the process. (Just like the bank uses.)

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ call your/her carrier, they can disable the phone from being programmed again and when the person goes to program it, they can track it that way

Tried. TMO said they can't do something like that. Are they wrong?

Who? Because I asked TMO if they could and the rep said no.

I thought there was a way also.

I lost a 7100i when I was on Nextel and the rep told me they blacklisted the ESN so it could never be used again.
Seems like T-Mobile could do the same.

So the reps I spoke to know nothing then. Ok I have to find one that knows.

Any TMO reps on the Stacks that can help out?
