I have heard of the foil between the battery and cover to get better reception. Never had to apply this though. ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ |

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~i tried the foil in my pearl. I tried using different sizes and thicknesses and after expirementing with it for several hours I found that my signal was worse by 5db. The theory is putting tin foil (aluminum, whatever) between the battery and cover will make for better signal. I went around my house and recorded the signal in db at a few locations to set up my control number, then returned to those spots with various foil mods and it ended up being a giant waste of time.
