Sending in a curve
What would happen if I sent my phone into Blackberry under warranty, and they sent me a brand new one, and i never sent back my old one?
They would charge your account, it would 300+

will they charge me if i sent it back without some parts like battery or trackball
Somehow they will charge you retail for the items that are missing. Not too sure about missing trackball. Why would you want to send in a blackberry with stuff missing. If you need a new battery or so, it is probably cheaper to go out and buy it out.
If its a replacement thru your carrier, you usually only have to send everything except sim, battery, battery cover...
They might still charge a partial amount, if its missing parts ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~
My brother did a warranty replacement on a different brand phone for a cracked screen. They didn't even send a battery or back cover with the new one.
they wouldnt give you warranty exchange cause the phone isnt in original condition

If you are going to take the time to respond... take the time to actually understand that to which you are responding.
they sent him a brand new one already.. i just wanted to salvage some parts
I really think you're better off ordering any needed parts from cnn.cn. What you want to do isn't really fair to the carrier or the warranty center. Plus, they very well may charge him for the parts which aren't cheap. I believe they want something like $40 for a trackball assembly when you can order it much cheaper from cnn.cn.
Regardless, I'd go with the honest approach.
