Can you send calls with certain Caller ID straight to VM somehow.

In the phonebook or with some other kind of app?

Thats a great question! I have too many people that call me that I don't care to talk to. If there is something out there I wouldn't mind getting my hands on it.

If only; but we all know pressing the end button on the first ring has a similar effect...

Ok If you have 4.1.x.xxx and can create exceptions, do this. Create an Profile that has None for both the in holster and out of holster for the Phone Alert, Mute for the Volume and None for Repeat Notification. Name it and Save it. Then from the Profiles Menu, select New Exception. Give it a name, and Add all the contacts you want to ignore. Then set the Use Profile to the one you just created. and Save it.

Now when ever you get a call from anyone in that list it will not give you an alert. You may get a flashing red LED though, but I'm not sure.

    Hope this helps

There is a terrific app called BerryBlocker, it's only $10 and available at Handango.

This app allows you to create filters that will Auto-Ignore any unwanted phone calls.

    Works GREAT!

But! If you're on BES, you will need your admin to push a new policy to permit "keystroke injection".

And, it doesn't work on 4.2 OS (aka: the Pearl).

Ah, but does the person calling hear ringing, i.e. waiting for someone to answer, or does it in fact go to voice mail?

They will hear the ringing. Don't think you can automatically send them straight to Vmail.

The caller may hear a half ring or ring. Then to voicemail. It's just software pressing Ignore, instead of you doing that yourself.
