    Screen Brightness

Hey guys, I had a question, My screen brightness in the options is at full , however the screen seems to change; most of the time its pretty dark, but then it just brights up for some reason, and i like it brighter rather than the dark it usually is.

all the help would be appreciated, thanks

it's the autodim function on the pearl, i'm guessing that is what you have. on os .42 or earlier you could turn it off. no longer if you are past that os sorry.
Been a long while since last login. Sorry all, adjusting to a new life is great and hell at the same time!!

If you have an 8700, you can go into Options, Screen/Keyboard and shut off the Automatic Backlight.
