Free Range works on my 8330 extremely well. Upvise is another one and both are free. Viigo just doesn't work for me.

Viigo has been what I have been using for about a year. Uses a lot of memory though.

So I've noticed: whilst installing Viigo, I got a message saying there was only 5 mb left to install applications. Is it not possible to download apps to the memory card, to get round this?

I'd hate to think that because I've downloaded it, I'm now going to be limited with regard to the number of future apps I can download.

I guess I was of the thinking that the number of applications one could run, was restricted only by the size of the memory card, not the devices own memory.

There is only one app that I'm aware of that will allow you to save to SD card. Aerize card loader.
It's good for things like games, themes and many others but some things just won't work. There is a trial version. Be sure to read all instructions and the PDF available on it.

Just a note, when you use aerize, you are saving your apps to the card, but you can't run them from there. It's basically a place to save and reinstall later when you want to use it. I have tried multiple times to use it, we don't get along

If you are looking for a reader that isn't a huge resource hog then definitely go with free range. But viigo does have many more options.
