RSS stands for really simple syndication. Quick and fast news info and blogs.

back in 4.2 OS days i used a couple of browser-based readers on my 'berry. i don't recall what they were, but they felt very clunky. and while i'm no RSS expert, i've been fairly pleased with the 'berry's in-browser RSS handling.

navigating to an RSS feed address gets you the headline result, and you can choose to read the "description" and then click through to the actual story page.

saving the address in your bookmarks allows for periodic automatic updates. you won't be alerted when the update is complete (only feature i can imagine missing), but the new posts will be "ready to go" when you go into your browser and view the bookmark. so that they're quick to filter, i prefix the bookmark title with "[RSS]".

again, no expert, but this may be a way for you to sample RSS without cluttering your device, or making any monetary investment.
