RIM's coming to the office today... any questions I should ask?

Supposidly RIM will be coming to our ATT office today to show off a few new devices including the Bold... or maybe just the Bold?

None the less I plan on asking a few questions such as Sprint MMS, Nextel 8350i running the 4.6 O/S and when 4.5 plans to be released in the US for ATT and other US carriers...

Does anyone have any other good questions that I can ask? Write them down here and I'll try my best.

Maybe you could ask about the possibility of AT&T getting the 8220 Flip or the Storm?

Find out when we can buy one on ATT. I've been saving my upgrade for this one.

I believe the Spawning Dragons feature has been side-lined because of the iPhone as well.

Well... they had the Bold, the Curve 8320 (Blue) and a Pearl 8120 in some type of silver/pink limited edition henna design on display.

Neither of the devices were connected to the network but I was able to confirm that the 8320 was running 4.5.

They didn't seem to know anything else about anything for that matter which was unfortunate but... oh well.

They did mention that ATT should have had already released the 4.5 software on their website.. which they didn't..? So it may be on the way very soon (within the week?)

I'm beginning to worry about your obsession
with dragons and wanting to spawn them.

It's kind of hard to explain but if you take a look at this image: If you look at the links/options on the right bottom it's more like that dark color blue.

not bad...man i hope att gets this within the week than. any word on availability?

i'm not to sure of the size of the bold..the 8800 series was too big and the bold is the successor, so i'm not high on it. (love that screen res though)

I think on paper the size of both the Bold and 88xx series are identical but because the Bold has the larger screen and curved corners for some odd reason it just fits/feels a lot better in my hand and doesn't seem as big.

I originally was turned away by the Bold (before I even saw it) based on the size comparison specs. I tend to not like larger phones, and even though I settled on large phones in the past due to their features in the end I ultimatly always regretted getting them.

Having the phone in my hand gave me a better look and actually changed my opinion about the phone. It's very nice... the phone is MUCH faster in regards to applications and what not and has A LOT more memory which is great... but it's only a stepping stone and basically the first of it's generation. I may decide to hold out on the Curve for the time being and wait for it's brother devices to come out first before I make the jump and upgrade.
