Removing unwanted icons

Hey all,

I'm new to the forums and BB's. I had a quick question, is there a way to remove unwanted icons from the main display menu? I've got an unlocked 8700c with PTT using T-Mobile, which doesn't support it, and hence would like to remove the icon. . . .

Also wondering if I can disable the side button for PTT.

Welcome to PinStack.

Yes, you can remove the Icon by scrolling to that Icon, opening the Menu and Selecting Hide Application. You can also remove the complete Application by Reinstalling the current Handheld Software on your PC, after removing the Ptt cod file from the Java sub folder in the folder where the Installer stored the Version files.
