Go to options/security options/general settings hit menu and chose wipe handheld. That will wipe your device to out of the box condition. As far as the sim someone else will have to field that one.~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I don't think that you can 'wipe' the SIM. You can only delete one contact after the other.
But why do you want to do that? Why don't you take the SIM out and put it into the new phone.

If you're selling the phone, even if you're not going to use the SIM, i.e. switch to a CDMA carrier, you should keep the SIM and let the phone go to the new person without the SIM. They'll get their own SIM when they activate their account. Does that help or have we made invalid assumptions?

The 8350i is CDMA, so I think you are dead on.

I believe the 7100i is also a CDMA phone, so there should be no SIM.

Well of course it is. I should have checked. For one thing, it's a Sprint phone and Sprint is NOT GSM! My mistake.

I think some Sprint/Nextel phones use SIM cards.

The 7100i and the 8350i both have sim cards. (NEXTEL)
I sent all my info to the 8350i via DM.
I think I found somone to buy my 7100i.
I don't need the old sim, and don't want my info to go with it.
    Thanks

When they go to activate the device they will be issued there own sim card. Even if you do not need it, dont let the sim card go with the device
