does it harm the battery if I leave my bb plugged into an electric outlet every night for the entire night? I don't think it does, but I just want to make sure.

Li-Ion batteries do not get a "memory" like the old ni-cad. I use mine so much I have to leave it charging everynight

    Re: Question about charging

I keep mine on the charger all night as well and don't see any harm to the battery or know of any issues against doing this so don't see it as a problem. Know of quite a few members who do the same.

Everyone's correct -- when we were younger, we got into the habit of being very careful with our nicads and other batteries because of "memory" etc. Now that we have lithium ion batteries which don't bear the same quirks, we still can't shake the "battery memory" thing. Kind of funny -- Lithium Ion batteries can be charged any time, any where, for any amount of time, from any starting charge, day or night without ruining the battery or blowing anything up.

Ain't technology great I remember hearing so many stories about phones blowing up in the night or dying after 10 mins of use, then they would be brought back to the shop as faulty!!

A little lightning bolt appears next to the battery level indicator. When fully charged, it disappears.
