Apparently gets rid of your call log, call history, and text messages.

When I removed my mem this happened and now that I got a new one, it happened again. I thougt it was because I was low on memory at first but apparently not.

That's never happened to me when I've switched my memory cards. That's not normal.....one should have nothing to do with the other.....strange....

    According to the OP's profile....it's an 8120.

Gigamaster, are you turning your BB off before removing or inserting the memory cards? If not, try powering down first and see if that makes a difference.....~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Also adding a media card does not increase memory for the phone only for your media...unfortunately you're stuck with the mem that the BB comes with for all system resources...follow the thread on how to gain more available memory on you BB...just search it here on the stacks...hope this helps~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

I don't turn my BB off when I access my media card, is that bad? I just hooked up my BB to my PC to access my media card and to move pictures from my device memory to the card, when I unplugged the USB, my phone log was gone again.

Very strange.....and what's your free memory at? If your memory is good......maybe its a hardware issue.

You could try wiping and reloading the OS but I don't know if it will do the trick. But I've never experienced an issue like that.

Maybe one of the device experts will be able to advise you further.
