Yes – I need more than just Controlled Content.
No - Controlled Content is adequate
Don’t Care – Don’t want video on my Blackberry.
Don’t Care – My Device won’t handle either.
Ok, I’ve see all the posts on Sona Media and QuickPlayer and think that these are both good advances over the current situation, but they both seem to have a business plan based on limited content. Content that is controlled by the product/service and/or Carrier.
What I want to know is when someone will develop an add-in for the BB Internet Browser that will allow me to access any multimedia content on the internet. I want to browse to YouTube or other video sites and view streamed video just like I can from my PC.
I use my BB during the day to read several Tech and other blogs and a lot of those have imbedded videos from YouTube and other sources. For now I have to wait until I get home and logged in to my PC and then remember where it was that I saw the Video talked about.
I don’t think this is too much to ask for. I would be willing to purchase the App, but I don’t want to rent an app that doesn’t allow me to decide what I want to watch or controls what I can watch. Additionally, these services won't provide a way to see limited distribution video streams that are necessary now for business purposes.
Anybody else feel this way?
