i was in the store looking at phones and i looked at the samsung blackjack and noticed how thin and light it was it looked nice but i think its so thin and lite i would forget it was in my pocket and put it in the washer or smash it by accident. at least i know when my 8700 is in my pocket some may say that the 8700 is heavy but i like a little weight in a cell phone.

Yeah I like his weight but my overall device is the 7130e now, but that's my point 'cause I prefer suretype over qwerty

Thin & light means more toys in the pocket & less weight ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~

Just wait until we see more 3g in the usa. 3g phones are traditionally larger b/c it takes more battery power to keep charged and on network, so ultimately the phones will be larger to accomodate.

Not exactly, I live in the uk and 3g phones here are really thin like SE w880i Samsang D900 and some phones from moto lg and nokia are all anorexically thin.

Really? I'd think you'd have to have some nerve damage to forget that there's a Blackjack in your pocket but I guess YMMV...

Is that a BlackJack in your pocket or are you really happy to see me?

The only way they will be too thin and light is when they start breaking if you sit on them. Other than that the smaller the better.

Really now days the only thing that is holding manufactures back is the batteries. Battery technology is lagging way behind. Especially when 3G is made nationwide we are all going to need bigger batteries.

To me my pearl is just perfect. I've seen tiny phones and tried them, not good for big hands, they're for teens.
