I started off with the pearl and after a couple months of use I decided I wanted to try to the curve because of the size difference. The pearl always seemed a little small for my liking yet I'm still able to comfortably stick my curve in my back pocket. I've found that the user interface is exactly the same but there is a bit of convenience in the keyboard diff. if you tend to type/text a lot.

Yup I payed full retail for the Pearl, now im up for an upgrade for the Curve.

I agree that the one hand typing rocks BUT sometimes suretype can be a pain in the ssa.
This is my Blackberry. There are many like it, but this one is mine. Without me my Blackberry is useless. Without my Blackberry I am useless.

I had both. Love the Pearl about the size. And love the curve about the size. Confused? No you don't have to The Pearl is like a 'normal' phone but the Curves display is much better.

    Pearl or Curve?

Just switched from the Pearl to the Curve. They're both great devices but I would have to give the edge to the Curve. The better display, larger device memory, faster browser, and full keyboard gives you more bang for your buck. If money's not an issue get the Curve, no question.

Actually, I would assume if money is not an issue, then the Bold (9000) would be the better alternative, if you can look past the giant size of it.

    Eh.
