    A friend just got the cingular pearl and I walked her through the cingular email setup. She has the blackberry package on her accnt but no hidden or active browser icon on her phone. The browser service book is not on her phone either how do I fix this?

    Go to "Options" then "Network" and make sure that the "Data Services" option is selected to ON. I had that problem when I first got my Pearl activated. I hope that helps!

    Yes re-send the service books. That will get your browser back.
