    OTA Question

I recieved 3 files for an application that I was told is an OTA version by the companies technical support. The files are .jar, .cod, and .jad. The instructions state to "Download directly in the blackberry and install the jad file." How do I do this?

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Re: OTA Question

You should be able to highlight the jad link in your blackberry and download directly to your device. Depending on the software it may ask you to reboot.

I thought so too jrocket, but when I highlight the file, there is no option for download.

you need to point your phone browser to this jar files, in mesages you can probably highlight the link and choose go to, if not select it, copy and paste into your browser.

    Re: OTA Question

    ddmax,

    1) Download the .jar and .jad files to your computer.
    2) Copy the files to your bb using the USB cable.
    3) Go to the Media application and hit the menu button and go to explore.
    4) Go to where you saved the files in your media card and click on the .jar file.

    It should install right away.
