    I DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE FROM TMOBILE FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS.. ABOUT 95% INTO THE OS UPDATE I RECIEVED THIS ERROR MESSAGE NOW MY BEAUTIFUL PEARL IS USELESS BECAUSE I HAVE NO APPS WHATSOEVER.. I'M STUCK ON THIS WHITE SCREEN ..HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    ~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~yup, just re-install your OS... But you will have to start everything from scratch. If you backed up before installing the new OS then u should be good. But u still need to re-install all the apps that u installed on your bb. Goodluck!

    yes it worked..fine thanks for all the help ..one for question..how do i located my backed up files that was saved during the upgrade? thanks in advance

    Heh heh - unless I have the foresight (rarely) to pay attention when I start the backup, I just initiate another backup and look in the location it defaults to. The newest file in there with a .ipd extension will likely be your backup.

    I make sure it goes into my BlackBerry/Backups Folder, created for just that purpose. Once I did a manual backup and put the first file in that forlder, All the Backups have gone there, even the automatic ones.
