Not impressed by Rogers 3G in Calgary

ATT is my carrier, I am currently in Calgary and have found the 3G network give very poor communication, and had to switch to 2G. In the US I don't seem to have this problem. Maybe its my phone (Bold 9000) but it is certainly annoying.

I would recommend anyone coming here to switch their phone to 2G it seems to be the only way to get consistent coverage

Calgary's quite a spread out place. 3G coverage is still a bit spotty, and with the push to 3.5G and 4g, I don't see the 3G itself getting any better. Most of our devices revert to EDGE when needed, which isn't usually a problem.

The problem I am seeing is that my phone shows 3G, but I cannot get any data coverage. So I change to 2G/EDGE manually and then I can get e-mail and internet

I have travelled to Calgary quite a few times and not had problems before so maybe they are doing something to the network this week?
