    hey all,
    having troubles with my pearl at the moment
    I thought I was just having a peaceful weekend, but just realised that i'm not getting any emails...
    I've been "pimping my pearl" this weekend, and must have stuffed something in the process, here's what I've done:
    a) downgraded from 4.2.1(Telstra) to 4.2.0 (Vodafone Australia), this is because my company switched providers and I wanted the voda theme, also 4.2.1 had issues in regards to screen resolution
    after this I got the BB registration message, and since then NO emails...

    b) when I found out the software change didn't make the voda theme available, I followed the "unlock hidden carrier theme" instructions on here (which worked)
    c) the only other thing was install colourpearl

    I'm certain it's the first step that's stopped the emails...
    I've tried doing enterprise activation, but it errors out
    tried soft reset - no success


    any thoughts? or any other info needed for a diagnosis?

    go to options, advanced options, host routing table. bring up the menu and hit register now. should get your emails flowing

    tried that, waited 20 mins
    still no email

    Did you try pulling the battery for about 30 seconds?

    It seems to me since the software changed, then the service books changed. So service books need resent by the BES admin

    rang company's IT helpdesk, and they gave me a new activation code
    entered that and it worked!
    except it didn't download any emails from over the weekend, I did reconcile now, should that have gt them?
    not a big deal except i'm not back in the office till tomorrow to check on outlook
