    So I canceled att to goto verizon. I gave my 8310 to my friend on att. It won't let him set up email or bbm. It tells him this pin is already registered. I havnt got my bill for the ETF. And he does have the bb data packages. Any ideas?

    Maybe he needs to go to the bis email page and set email acc there to register his new pin with network

    The pin has to get unregistered. He'll have to call att and let them know that he has acquired the new device and needs it to work on his plan... And ofcourse he'll have to sign up for a bb data plan before any of that will work...
