You would get used to it really fast and have the added advantage of the large screen. Stop by a store and try one out, it's the only way to truly know if it's for you. Good luck!

    Well said moses2628!

    I'm with you.

Even though I had an 8100, I bought an 8120. But that's because I'm a sick BB addict....

Your idea of waiting is the smart way to go. I too really like SureType, it's a very clever alternative to a full qwerty keyboard. Obviously it allows RIM to design a smaller sleeker phone.

Plus it's important for all of us that are big fans of SureType to remember that RIM does indeed monitor this forum to see what their loyal users like. So if we keep the conversation up, they will bring out what we want.

Thanks for the great post moses2628 !

    Cheers

Hmm, maybe we need an 81xx/83xx hybrid, so RIM, bring on the BB 8200. You can mix some features up, pearl keypad on a slide out tray??? I'm just throwing things out.

Now that's a great idea DCookSta!

I have a Helio Ocean that has a slide out keyboard the appears from the side of the phone. It fantastic, and it also has a slide out keypad with numbers only that extends out the bottom for calls. A really great style, form factor & build quality. So, yes RIM has many potential designs to work on.

    Nice post!

Yah, especially since I'm due for an upgrade in July! I'm going to try to resist temptation since I find the Curve perfect for my needs. My geek radar will be in full mode!
