    Question Need help:lost connection to wireless network

    Have a Blackberry Pearl with T-Mobile service (one year now)-have lost wireless connection - did the on-phone "troubleshooting" with their "PDA support" - no good- have removed battery and sim card, of course, and re-inserted - spouse's phone does have connection (a raz-r with t-mobile). Have been told to bring to "store" for help - pretty far- don't know if they'll be able to help either - didn't in past. Any ideas? Thank you! (cannot make or receive calls or emails!)

    Same thing happened to me and it ended up being the SIM card. If you've done everything you could with troubleshooting (bat pull, sim pull, check Mobile Network, check Host Routing Table, etc)... it's more that likely the SIM card died. Just pick one up in a store, they might want to charge you for it but they have the ability to give them away free if you bug them about it. Then call Customer Care or have them call Customer Care and give them the ICCID number off the SIM

    Dont know what area your in but I know that lately at the store here we have been having to do alot of sim swaps do to no service issues and it seems to be doing the trick
