Multiple BES or BES and desktop redirector
Is there a way to receive email from 2 enterprise email servers, both of which do not allow POP access?
I'm thinking of trying the following....
Register my BB with my primary corporate email server (BES).
Use the desktop redirector at my client site to send all of my email to my BB, (I will have a workstation that will be on all of the time).
Will this work?
On my previous BB I had one corporate email through BES and one through BIS as an imap account.
IMAP is not allowed either from outside of the firewall.
Do you use Outlook? You can set a rule to where any messages will be forwarded to your BB. Ive done that as well.
You mean send the email to my BES configured account? I guess I can do that if all else fails. Only downside is that the 'from' info kind of gets lost and the inbox in my BES account get cluttered.

FYI - For anyone that may have a need to do this...
I got this to work on my 8100
Corporate email using BES (Exchange server)
Client site email using Desktop Redirector (Exchange Server) - I have a workstation on site that will be on and logged in virtually all of the time.
Personal Email (Gmail)
I didn't do anything except to load the desktop manager w/ the option of using desktop redirector.
