    Hey Guys,

    i just got a 7290 of a friend and for me to set up internet i need the extra APN options such as gateway ip and port. How can i have access to theM

    Yeh i have the gateway ip and the port but i dont have the option to put them in on my phone. I read that i have to change wap from automatic to manual or something along the lines of that.??

    What are you "setting up"? The browser icons and internet access are handled by the service books which are automatically pushed if you have a Blackbery data plan (you do have one, right?). It's only with certain third party apps that you need the APN settings. What are you entering them for?

    No, i don't have a blackberry plan. I was just handed a blackberry from a friend and i like to use it cause its good for text. And my provider doesnt provide a blackberry service. But it does have GPRS service which i can use on another phone (Moto V3X) and id like to use it on my blackberry.??? How can i do this?????
