Migration from Lotus Notes to Exchange

Small BB user community migrating from lotus notes to exchange. RIM has no recommendation for migrating (300 users) over to exchange. They recommend basically starting from scratch, creating new user profiles and redeploying devices. Of course this sucks! Has anyone performed this type of migration? If so can you please share your experience and offer any advice?

    Thanks so much!

Re: Migration from Lotus Notes to Exchange

Sorry, not an answer to your question, but why move from Notes to Exchange?
Not going into a platform war, just curious why the switch?

As for migrating it - I wouldn't doubt MS has tools to move the notes server over, but then you would need a similar tool from RIM, and AFAIK, that doesn't exist.

If you must, I'd do the Notes->Exchange (wait for crash), get it somewhat stable, then do another Exchange install with BES on that server, and re-setup the users. Main reason is the state db in the .NSF file.
