    Memoryup Personal (lite)??

    Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has tried this program yet, and what do they think of it. I recently downloaded the free "lite" edition, but there's no icon on the homescreen and there are no options to configure the program, so I'm wondering if it just runs in the background. Any ideas?

Yup, that the first place I checked after I realized there was no icon.

Yeah, I tried a battery pull just recently because the memory was going down, but still no icon/listing in options. The only place it's located is under the adv-app location. I also redownloaded it and erased it, but to no avail. I guess its not ready for primetime, at least the lite version from berrystore.

Yeah. There's a review saying it good, but if it is running in the background, it hasn't done much for my phone thus far.

If it is indeed running in the background, then I don't see any use for it... It hasn't done me any good either...

But I seem to recall that it was supposed to have some options... And I've tried a reinstall to no avail...

The free version only does quick option. Should be an icon. Never had it actually do anything. The graphic that runs will tell you its defragging memory, then usually says it freed up 0kb. Yippie.
Apparently the paid app will run at start up and at various times throughout the day.
Tried the free and deleted within a day. Just didn't see it being worth its footprint.

The icon can be found in the "downloads" folder (talking of Bold).
I tried the free version on a number of bb devices. It doesn't allow any user configuration, doesn't run in the background. You have to find the icon, run the app. But most often you would see "success 0 bytes freed". The pro version seems to work better. I have bought two registration keys for the pro version, and installed on 8700g and 8100, because they really get slow. But for the Bold, I am not sure if I need it at all

Well, the bold does have a built in memory cleaner... But that doesn't do much either...
