    Memory jump?

    I just upgraded from 4.5.0.52 to 4.5.0.81

I did a reset prior to doing the upgrade and did all the usual steps: LGLG, clear browser cache, cleared Viigo cache, cleaned memory, battery pull - and had just over 10MB free. After doing the upgrade, I'm over 20MB free!!

    This just blows me away!!

    Anyone else notice the same?

I have an 8320 as well, with 4.5.0.52 and I noticed the exact same thing. No matter what I do to remove excess memory usage, it never gets much above 10MB. I definitely need to make the upgrade. Glad to hear about the memory jump

I've removed all the "normal" stuff - sample videos, sample pics, extra languages, etc. Only things installed are Viigo, PINstack launcher, ESPN launcher, Mobipocket Reader (no books currently installed,) Google Maps, and BBlight.

Even getting rid of all of those, I was only able to get up to about 17MB free.

    This is just too cool!!

I've noticed another thing with 4.5.0.81 - my battery normally lasts about 24 hours before I HAVE to recharge it (less than 30% left...)

I had a full charge 22 hours ago, and I'm still at 70%. Everything else is "normal" with usage for voice and data.

After the upgrade, Viigo reset and I've been wearing it out trying to get caught up on all the stuff that its been sending to me.

    Just another interesting tid-bit!
