    Media Card Question

Finally got around to loading some music on my media card.

I didn't use Media Manager or Media Sync. Just dragged and dropped into the music folder.

If I want the album art, do I have to use Media Sync or is there another way to move the album art and be sure it's attached to the music?

    Thanks in advance,
    Roger

media sync is probably the best way to do it, but if you turn on hidden files and folders, theres usually some album art hidding in the same folder as the music, its worth a try to drag that onto your media card as well. Good luck!

    Thanks, Dean.

So if I already have the music on the card, will Media Sync already know that and just allow me to import the album art?

    Thanks,
    Roger

On the same topic- What is the easiest way to correct the tag info to get the correct song title, band, genre, album, etc. to display on a whole bunch of MP3's? I have been messing around with this for a while and never seem to be able to get it all done at once and quit after a few hours of frustration.
Would the site mentioned above be of use besides the album art?

    Thanks for any feedback...

Okay, so if I load up this mp3tag application and point it to my music folder on the device, how do I get the album art?

~via smartphone~do you have your music in iTunes? I just drag and drop the folder with the music to the card. Album art came along with it.

Yes, I have iTunes, but apparently iTunes isn't as adept at pulling in album art as some other applications are, specifically the one mentioned above.

I have the application loaded on my laptop, but I don't know how to use it to get a more extensive list of album art.

I'm not sure Rog, I buy most of my mp3s off of Amazon, so they all have the album art included with the song-wish I could be of more help. ~via 9000~

I use http://www.allcdcovers.com/ to download the album art then use mp3tag to attach it to the song. Works well for me. I open the song files on my bb using Media card support. I do make the covers smaller than i download them, usually reduce them to about 20k so them open up good and quick.
