    McAfee Security for BB?

I just updated my home McAfee Security service. With my service, they also offer free mobile security for no extra charge. Anyone using this? Is it useful? Any drawbacks? Just curious. Thanks.

there is a reason that there is no "antiviral" apps for the blackberry, because it is "almost" impossible to hack this device. pretty much the blackberry is the most secure mobile device you will ever own. it meets all govt standards AES/3DES encryption routines and data transfer. so yea

Just be aware though, whilst a BlackBerry IS one of (if not THE) most secure devices you will ever own, in order to get the maximum level of security and the Government-standard encryption you must use it under a BlackBerry Enterprise Solution (BES)...

not necessarily, the BIS servers with content protection enabled offer the same encryptions levels as BES users.

OT, but my moto and philosophy is to "keep moving forward" - for EVERY negative, there is ALWAYS a positive! B-)

well thats actually one of Newtons law's. the universe is built on stability. for every action there is a equal or opposite reaction or in your case for every negative there is a positive to balance it out.
