    Life of a Media Card

I have a 2GB in my 8300, and erase and download shows on it. Its about 2 mos. old. My question-is there a finite number of times a media card can be used and part of the memory erased and re-used? Or is the media card simply a storage device that can be used over and over?

SD cards do have a limited lifespan of reads and writes, but I seriously doubt that you will ever reach that number. I don't ever remember exceeding the read and write life on any SD card that I have owned.

I did just read an article that stated the standard SD card will read/erase at least 100,000 times. Just some FYI
