    LED Blinking Rate

I just thought of this and couldn't find anything on it really. Is there a way to increase the rate at which the LED blinks? I always find myself staring at my BB waiting to see if i got a message or not, etc. I know can just put it on a tone but I usually just have my phone on vibrate. I guess I just have bad timing when I have a glance but I think it's a good idea...

Anyone heard of this being a possibility?
    I have a BlackBerry and a WhiteApple. :)

No way to alter it without a 3rd party program. If you want to spend a bit of money, you can get BB Alerts, you can change the blink rate with that as well as the colors the LED blinks for different alerts.

BBalerts will let you do this and can change the color for different things, email, sms, pin, phone along with a few others. There is a trial period also. I've used it for some time now and love it.

I can't get BB Alerts to work. I heard the demo works fine but whenever I exit out of the app the LED shuts off entirely.

I have this and couldn't live without it. The fact that the berry only blinks for someting like 15 minutes made it so I missed a lot of notifications. BBAlerts will keep blinking till you check it.

Also, since my wife hates blinking lights while sleeping I can set up the schedule to stop alerting me at night.

    Overall, 5/5 stars from me!

The app needs to run in the background, so don't exit out of it. Just hit the END button and it will stay running. Indispensable app IMO.
