Hey all, I've got a concern/curiosity that maybe something went wrong during my installation of OS 4.7.0.90....

So I ventured into my computer --->Local Disk C: --->program files ---> Common Files ---> RIM ---> Shared ---> Loader Files...

and I noticed these two fellas next to each other.....

    9500-v4.7.0.88_P4.0.0.112 and.... 9530-v4.7.0.90_P4.0.0.114

......I know the 9500(vodafone) was the first storm to hit the UK market, but is this 9500 OS file supposed to be loaded or with the 9530 OS file (not that I'm discriminating or anything....honest)

    I'm just curious....?
Running the .132 OS with v3.5 Hybrid installed, working pretty nice!

Those are separate installations of different operating systems. Are you saying that both folders appeared when you installed the newest OS? If not, when you installed 4.7.0.90 on your computer it uninstalled the earlier voda OS, but simply left the folder/files. To be sure, open your Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs window on your PC and see which one is installed. If the 4.7.0.90 for the 9530 (or "9500 Series") is installed, you can safely delete the other folder and files in the loader files folder (But you don't have to, if you're uncomfortable with it -)

haha, wow, i guess I did do something wrong

I went to control panel --> add/remove prgms, and it showed both 9500, and 9530 device software OS download......

so would it be safe to uninstall the 9500...?

You're welcome, SubaruDude - but one thing to keep in mind: My 7290 can definately beat up your 9530!
