IT Policy: Forcing password to unlock phone

Is there anyway to override or get around the force of the password on unlock? Our BES admin sent it to all our phones. I went to security settings and such but am unable to change it as it has a red lock next to changing it.

Any help? I tried to search but came up empty.

    Password Issue

No, you can't disable it if you are on a BES conection. The reason being is that your phone is being managed via an IT policy that specifically set the password option to enabled. The only way around it is to use BIS and your have to wipe your phone to get rid of the IT policy.

Damn thats what i was afraid of. I have full access to the server and BES settings. But id rather keep my job than change the policy.
