    is there a howto remove unwanted stuff?

    is there a howto remove unwanted stuff?
    I mean there are some stuff I don't use on my BB 8310
    like PTT and some links related to the phone carrier, also
    some phone themes I don't like which came with the phone
    can anyone point me in the right direction??

    Can't check how much memory was recovered. You should of checked how much memory you had before using Maxmem then check how much you have after using Maxmem.

    Have a look at CrackMem. It is a free program that I wrote to help optimize memory at OS installation time. The link is in this forum.

    It removes files from the Java folder and stores thm in a RemovedFiles+OS-selected folder. It has a Put It Back function.

    To my surprise I found that if I removed some (but not all) modules on my PC disk and then connected my phone to Desktop Manager, DM removed the module even after installation.

    This should work with vendor themes too.

    I am new to Pinstack but have over 2100 posta on CrackBerry. I was specifically asked to post CrackMem over here via a PM.

    I strongly reccomend that you have a look at the post before you try the program and I also sugest that you read CrackMem's help text as this explains exactly what the program does and how it works.
