Okay this may seem like a stupid question, but I guess I have never incurred this before..
I have BIS on my 8120 and the main email is a .sbcglobal.net account I have pushed to my phone. I just received a few emails from a friend, but I happened to be logged onto my email on the computer and just replied through it. All the messages I received are on my phone, and obviously the computer. How can I get my sent messages, or replies to him, to show up on my berry between the corresponding messages I sent him? That way if I need to refer back to it I can see our conversation without having to open the WWW on computer. Normally id have just replied on phone, but since I had email open already..So moral of long story. How do I get my berry to show the messages I sent to him via the computer on my berry?
Gawd its late, im tired, I hope that made sense.
Thanks as usual,
About all you can do at this point is send copies to yourself...and those emails you already sent will not appear to be in order but you will have them on your BB (as well as in your inbox on line)
In the future just bcc yourself or better yet get an @blackberry account from your carrier and bcc it when you use your online emails....
What does bcc stand for anyways? I already have a @blackberry account, i don't remember what it is though...lol
There is a simpler way to do it. I get all copies of emails sent from my email account automatically copied to my BB without having to cc or bcc, so whether I reply from the computer or direct from the BB I have a copy.
I'll figure out what I did and tell you in a few
I have a gmail account as my primary email and whenever I send an email from my computer I recieve a copy on my BB. Can't remember how it was configured but if you want to auto BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) log into your email settings and edit the primary email address and you should see an option to auto BCC and you can do what GaryF had suggested you can use whatever email address you want, whether the BB or your regular sbcglobal.net
Blind Carbon Copy
