how to add number to address book ?

    Hi all,

Obviously i've figured out how to add addresses but can't figure out how to add a number which i've dialed from the homescreen to an existing address book entry? I only see the option "add to address book" and if I do that it creates its own new entry.

    Any help appreciated!

    ben

You have to scroll down and copy the number, then go into the current contact and paste it.

Thanks. I wish there was a better way to do what you said, It would be a great feature.

We may move this to the "suggestions for rim" forum.

Benojir has suggested you the right thing,

you will simply have to copy the no dilled from your homescreen, then go to the existing contact, select edit option for the same , paste the copied no and save.

it seems like a simple feature to add. Most cell phones do it, you simply click the number and it gives you a choice of adding to existing contact or new contact. Cutting and pasting seems like a bit much.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~ Yeah I would really like this feature too. Closely related to this is when you do add a number to a contact (either new or existing) you should be able to choose which number you want it to be rather than it always defaulting to "Work". Currently whenever you create a contact from a number in your call log it always makes it the person's work number, and for me that's usually wrong.

I agree with akq....I want to set the default. Also I'm frustrated with not being able to add more email fields. I have friends with many email addresses and I want to be able to add them all but I think I max out at three and have to start adding them to the notes section. I wish people would have a universal email address but ah well.

Am I just a doofus or can you not add more than three email fields?
Yes...the BB must have been created and bestowed upon
