Re: How much is your montly bill for your bb service?

    hmm...
I have a three line plan (me, hubby, kid)
For phone useage, the bill is around $110 which includes 900 anytime minutes, unlimited n/w, unlimited mobile-mobile, nights starting at 7pm (extra $$ but all my fam are in TX and I live in CA), rollover (I think we are up to around 2500 min), roadside assistance.
For data useage, I have the BIS for my BB at $29.99 for unlimited (Cingular offers it at a $5 discount bc I have the required voice plan). My husband has an unlimited data plan too for his 8125, but I'm not sure how much that one is. We signed up for the text messaging plan (for the kid) for the 200 messages (first month) so hopefully we don't go over those. Total, I think our bills run around $190. Is that a lot?

Re: How much is your montly bill for your bb service?

Mannn. It BURNS me to see how good the plans are in the states. $19.99 for unlimited blackberry plans! Rogers is $100 for 200MB.

Worst thing about it; I switched my plan to the 200MB a while ago, which was 2 days after my billing cycle began and the rep told me she will set it up to be retroactive for those 2 days already into my cycle.... NOPE. She never even switched it. I got a bill for over $1000 with about $800 being overages that aren't even supposed to be there!!!

They're arguing with me that I never switched!

I've had problems with Rogers CS before so when I did the switch, I confirmed my new, updated plan with the rep at least 5 times! They still deny any changes were made and "no notes were entered into the system regarding this matter".

I think I need to begin recording my CS calls to them now. They're being adamant about not correcting my file and crediting my account. $800 for a small business owner is a lot of paper!!

We Canadians are being RAPED by our wireless carriers.. specifically the Rogers monopoly.

~via BB (wap.pinstack.com)~I don't live in Canada, so I'm not sure what companies offer service where, but I have a friend in Canada and he uses Bell Mobility and he is pleased with his BB service, CS, and price. Maybe you could give them a shot. Even if not, sometimes with these carriers, if you threaten to cancel your account and take your business elsewhere they will do a lot to try and keep you as a customer. Good luck.
