How do I save apps to media card not memory?

It has absolutely slipped my mind- how do I save apps to the media card instead of the device memory so that I don't bog my phone down? I have the verizon CDMA 8130 Pearl. Thanks.

Are you trying to save pictures and videos taken? Music?
If you go into your camera open your menu and go to options. You will see an option called "store pictures". Select that then select your memory card.
For songs you save them to your memory card from DM (at least that is what I did). OTA music downloads take a good bit of time.

If you are trying to put actuall 3rd party apps, like games, themes, and google maps etc. the BB can't run apps from the memory card....only from the device memory.

Like Azstar said, the BB can't run applications from the media card. Only media (music, ringtones, videos, ect.) can be accessed from the "media" card...hence the name. Welcome to the stacks!

Re: How do I save apps to media card not memory?

I'm wondering if this talked about OS 4.5 will allow this. I was able to do this on a Symbian OS (Nokia 6682) device and it is really nice. You're able to keep your actual phone memory pretty clean. There was no difference in the speed of the programs (that I could tell) and if you wanted to install more apps, you just got a bigger media card.
    Anyone know?

aerize lets you store things on the card, but not run them from there. It archives them just like BB app world does.
