    hour glass does not go away

    what is wrong with my blackberry when i turn the power on the hour glass stays on and never goes to the main menu help!!!!!!!!!

    You could be caught in a loop.

    Try shutting it down and doing a battery pull-- if that doesn't work, post back...we'll see what we can do.

    This happens when you are running very low on memory. Usual cause is not closing applications after you are done using them.

    Shut if off first using the power button icon on the start screen, then remove the battery for a least 20 seconds, then put it back. Now from the start screen pus the menu button (to the left of the trackball) and choose the bottom choice: Switch Application. That will bring up a window that shows every application that is currently running. Highlight an icon (say you have the address book icon there) after highlighting it, push the trackball which will launch it. Then press the menu button, scroll to the bottom of the menu list and choose, close. Continue this process until you have the following icons remaining. These are always running: Call log, home screen, browser, messages.

    This will take care of it and speed up your BlackBerry

    Question still not working glasshour???????

    i shut it down i hit the reset button now what hating it big time help!!!!!!

    Well if you've tried all the above- contact your Carrier Rep and get a new one.

    Sounds like this one would make a great coaster.
