Here's a Good One... for BB Pros maybe...

A friend of mine on BB Msngr had commented to me today
after my msngr reading said "Riding motorcycle...can't text now"...
about texting while driving motorcycle since soooo many of us
seem to text while driving... I do anyway... lol (knock on wood!)

I know this friend of mine said... "throttle in one hand, BB in the other"
I thought it was hilarious and then asked... "well what about breaking"
and he said... "ah... who needs to break?!" LOL!!! that's funny...

    So anyway... the question is...
who's successfully been able to drive a motorcycle & text!?!?! HAHA!!!
I know I sure as hell couldn't.... I have an interesting time as it is
just shifting a 6 speed, texting, and changing cd's... LOL!!!

I ride a BMW bike but no texting. My phone does plug into my Autocom intercom system so I can make and receive calls direct into helmet speakers etc.

I think that anyone who drives with a phone in hand is a criminal. You are dangerous for yourself and others on the road. Get a wireless set and don't text msg while driving!

Isn't there usually a foot-operated brake (the rear, IIRC)? It's been a while since I've been on one...

Still seems like a dumb idea. What keeps you off the pavement on a bike is your wits. Especially with people in cars not paying attention.

wait a minute, the throttle is on the right along with the front brake. the clutch is on the left. no shifting in this config. unless there is a small scooter then no clutch. LOL

    LMAO!
not that I have seen but I did install a laptop with video out capabilities, and a bluetooth mouse for music playlist capabilities and a wireless card for emails, while on the road.
amazing what people will pay me to do to their bikes and cars!

Yes some have CD's Tape decks and radios. I have that setup on my Beemer along with a UHF to chat with truckies etc. With my setup I do not have to take my hands of the bars as all controls are within easy reach. I can swap between radio and tape but to change a tape over I have to stop the bike and open the lid to the player unit.

The site I use for web hosting images was down when I posted the thread but I hope it is up again when you view this.
