Yup...but you will need to restore then add back to the Exchange or you will have to re-add to Exchange after the restore so just re-add to Exchange and there shouldn't be a problem.
That part throws me off. I just don't want her to lose all her emails, cause they are important.
And the three of us on this end don't sound too convincing with what we are talking about, lol.
So we back up the phone at home, let her admin re-set her up, then restore her back up at home to her device.
Any chance you can type me up a dummy-proof method/plan that this is supposed to happen in real quick?
Back-up the device, have the BES admin re-add the user, allowing her to begin BES setup after plugging the device into the Desktop Manager. Plug the device in, allow the Enterprise Activation to complete and you should be up and running again.
If the Activation does not work, the device will probably need to be wiped, and then re-added to the BES, then follow the procedures above, minus the back-up of course, re-activate on the BES, then restore, and then the Enterprise Activation should automatically start again and add the device.
I have never found this procedure to be flawless, simple, or easy with most of the devices I deal with so good luck, and feel free to continue posting any issues you or she may have tomorrow after trying these procedures.
Note: If you do a back-up, nothing will be lost...at all!!!
^^^^ I will reinforce what KalebsDad said: BACK UP THE DEVICE!! Then regardless of what transpires after that, her e-mails will still be restorable from the backup!
She is gonna try all this today while at work and give me a call tonight, so I will definitely be posting back, thanks a lot guys!
