Ok, I'm bored and impatient and just can't wait anymore... I'm planning on buying a new bb as soon as I get paid this week.

    So here's the question...

    Curve or 8800?

    Re: Help me pick

Ok so I guess #3 and #4 are kinda the same... oh well.

Also, I'll be keeping the Pearl so I don't really know if I need a camera. (I also have a super awesome digital). I could use the GPS more, I think.. I just think the curve is.... prettier.

    Re: Help me pick

Oh I want to, it's just the price difference. With my company, I could have an 8800 for $199 and a curve for $299. :/ blah

Go for the curve. Your're worth the extra $100. Just cut back on the Margaritas. At least switch to cheaper versions.

Depends on your needs, camera on the curve, keys seem to be a little more spaced versus something a little sleaker with built in GPS.

I voted for the 8800. With the price difference you can come close to getting a decent digital camera (if you don't have one already)

I vote for the Curve! I had an 8800, but having a phone with a camera comes in very handy.

    Re: Help me pick

Go for the curve, even if the difference is $200. Trust me, the thought will just eat away at you all year causing you to upgrade again, so you'll end up spending the difference or more anyway. Go curve. That ought to satisfy you until the 3G series with O/S 5.0 (rumored 9XXX line, right?) comes out next year after WES '08. Rationalize it this way. $300/yr is only a $1/day, right? There are worse things to spend a dollar a day on.

BTW, our corporate pricing from AT&T has the 8800 at 199 and the curve at either $299 or $349 (seems to fluctuate from week to week, don't know why). We don't seem to be getting the juicy rates the consumers signing 2yr contracts are getting on the curve.

I choose "wait" because if do happen to buy the curve (I want one too) or the 8800, couple months down the road you're wish you waited.

I know that's how I think when I rush into things.

Than again, whatever you choose, is entirely up to you.
